Type characteristics of polyester sewing thread
Types of features Editing sewing threads refers to the use of threads for sewing textile materials, plastics, leather goods, and bookbinding books. Sewing threads are characterized by seamability, durability and appearance quality. Sewing thread is generally divided into three types: natural fiber type, chemical fiber type, and mixed type;
The characteristics of the sewing thread also have its unique properties due to its different materials:
Cotton sewing thread—heat resistance, elasticity, wear resistance, moisture resistance, antibacterial ability, suitable for high speed sewing and durable pressing. The most used is the long-staple cotton thread: it is made of long-staple cotton, which is made by combing, singeing, mercerizing, and high-density twisting, so the pulling force is better than ordinary combed cotton. It is often used for sewing cotton and other cotton fabrics.
Pure cotton thread cotton is generally divided into two parts: carding and combing. The real 100% cotton thread can be used to make the whole combed cotton. Generally, more than 402, 202, and 203 are used. It is made of high-quality cotton combed in the cotton area. Pure cotton threads are often used for sewing in pure cotton clothing and other cotton fabrics.
Polyester sewing thread—high strength, straight and beautiful appearance, wear-resistant; not mildew, no corrosion, low price, rich color, not easy to fade, not shrinking.
Polyester/cotton sewing thread—made of 65% polyester staple fiber and 35% cotton fiber blend, the wire has high strength, good wear resistance, small shrinkage, good flexibility and good heat resistance. A variety of clothing can be sewn.
Nylon sewing thread—Strong stretch, good elasticity, smooth texture, silky luster, excellent wear resistance.
